'The Endurance' Prepares to Set Sail

Endurance Specialty Insurance Ltd. is the lead contributor to the Bermuda Zoological Society (BZS) education and conservation outreach vessel. In the fall of 2007 the Bermuda Zoological Society will be taking delivery of “The Endurance”. This 45 foot vessel will be used to enhance education and conservational programs put in place at the BZS. The addition of this vessel will extend Bermuda’s education program in the science curriculum in schools which specifies that high school students engage in practical marine field research programs. “The Endurance” will fill a critical need to connect the community to nature and will encourage everyone to learn about and protect Bermuda’s natural environment.
