Susan Barber
Personal Accident Underwriter
Susan is a life actuary (FSA and FCIA) with over 16 years experience in the insurance market. She started her career in a traditional corporate actuarial role in a Canadian life insurance company. She changed career paths to Personal Accident reinsurance underwriting in 1995 and spent almost 10 years with Manulife Financial writing this line of business on a worldwide basis although predominately with a US focus.
In late 2004, Susan moved to London and joined Endurance Worldwide where she established a portfolio of international PA treaty business.
